Another drawing showing a young couple and two men – one of them asleep, the other daydreaming – on a bench. Of these two sketches, only the graphite drawing in the collection of the National Gallery of Art in Washington was known until recently.
This sketch came into the possession of the museum only a few years ago as so-called ›attic trove‹.
