Kollwitz Research

New insights into the work of Käthe Kollwitz

The Käthe Kollwitz Museum Köln has the worldwide largest collection of the artist’s works and one of its objectives is to open up new access paths to her art and to illustrate the high artistic quality of her drawings, graphic art and sculptural works.

The focal points of this research activity are – along with the publication of catalogues on special exhibitions – the editing and updating of the catalogues raisonnées. This is the groundwork for all further research.
